By accessing and using HTTPChecker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HTTPChecker provides a suite of 65+ free online tools organized across 8 categories: HTTP analysis, DNS and domain lookups, SEO auditing, security testing, performance monitoring, developer utilities, encoding tools, and content analysis. Services include but are not limited to checking HTTP status codes, analyzing redirect chains, inspecting response headers, verifying SSL certificates, querying DNS records, auditing on-page SEO, evaluating security headers, testing page speed, formatting code, and scanning URLs for threats. All tools are provided "as is" and are intended for informational and diagnostic purposes only.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use HTTPChecker responsibly and lawfully. You may not:
- Use the Service to perform denial-of-service attacks or flood requests against any target - Use automated scripts or bots to make excessive requests to our API - Use our network tools (port scanner, subdomain finder, traceroute, ping) to scan systems you do not own or have permission to test - Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems - Use the Service to gather information for unlawful purposes - Resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service without permission - Attempt to bypass rate limits, CAPTCHA verification, or site protection mechanisms
4. Rate Limits
To ensure fair access for all users, HTTPChecker may enforce rate limits on API requests. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary or permanent restriction of access. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits at any time without notice.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free - Results will be accurate, complete, or current - Any errors in the Service will be corrected
HTTP responses, DNS records, SSL certificates, WHOIS data, SEO analysis, security scan results, and virus scan results are retrieved from or processed against third-party servers and APIs. We have no control over the accuracy or availability of this data.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall HTTPChecker, its operators, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Intellectual Property
The HTTPChecker name, logo, and website design are the property of their respective owners. The tools and their output may be used freely for personal and commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, duplicate, or copy the Service itself for the purpose of creating a competing product.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle (or rather, don't handle) your data.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
